The EMA kids went live on the ABC radio! Sharing the importance of protecting our oceans

Updated: Dec 7, 2023

We are thrilled to announce that this years' EMA kids were recently featured on ABC radio! This exciting opportunity allowed the young students from the EMA project in partnership in the Margaret River region with Nature Conservation MR to share their enthusiasm and knowledge about the marine environment with a wider audience. During the interview, the kids discussed their experiences learning about Western Australia's coastal ecosystems and shared their thoughts on the importance of protecting our oceans.

The EMA project in partnership in the Margaret River region with Nature Conservation MR has been providing valuable educational opportunities for young students to learn about environmental science and conservation. This recent interview on ABC radio highlights the positive impact of the project, not only in educating young minds but also in raising awareness of the importance of protecting our coastal areas.

We hope that this experience will inspire more young students to learn about science and conservation, and we look forward to seeing the EMA project continue to make a positive impact in the community.
